The firm is performing and pursuing further contract support expansion to markets in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Dallas, San Antonio, Texas and Washington D.C. MIRATEK was selected as the Fort Bliss SBA Prime Contractor of the Year (2000). Also, MIRATEK earned the U.S. Small Business Administration's "Administrator Award of Excellence (2000 and 2004)". In addition, MIRATEK was listed in the INC Magazine list of fastest growing inner city firms for 2001, 2002 and 2003, 2004. MIRATEK also received the HENAAC Entrepreneur of the Year Award for 2002 and was recently named in the Hispanic Business 500 for 2004 (#339 of 500).
