MIRATEK Corporation attains ISO 9001:2000 Registration

As part of the Raytheon Mentor Protégé Program, MIRATEK received assistance to enhance growth, quality of services and administrative infrastructure. Raytheon partnered with a Minority Institution, the University of Texas at El Paso, who provided expert training to MIRATEK.
Working closely with the Texas Manufacturing Assistant Center (TMAC) at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) on a consulting basis, MIRATEK redefined and documented "best practices" to be followed with all of its work processes in order to become more efficient and responsive in achieving our end goal - guaranteed customer satisfaction. With TMAC's unique approach to ISO implementation and registration that is customized to its clients, MIRATEK made it to the registration in less than a year with no previous knowledge of ISO Management Systems standards.
AQA International, a leading registrar in the quality industry, conducted a rigorous review of the documentation and implementation of MIRATEK corporate office quality management system. AQA International auditors performed and completed a full 2 day audit before granting MIRATEK the certification.
MIRATEK was granted ISO 9001:2000 registration on October 4, 2006 with a scope of Contracts Management.
