Project Manager

BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics or some other closely related academic field.

Manages various projects that can be of a highly complex nature.  Responsible for identifying resources required to accomplish project objectives.  Develops program scope, concepts of execution and detailed plans for executing projects.  Develops all program plans with budget and schedule.  Ensures compatibility of all components of projects to include hardware, software, networks and security.  Monitors, oversees and reports on project progress.  Maintains working relationship with customer.  Develops/interprets software guidelines, code and procedures relevant to the individual software development project.   Assists in software/programming concept design and develops the strategic Information Technology plans.

Telecommunications Specialist/Network Engineer BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics or some other closely related academic field.

Formulates scope of the IT Telecommunications/Network project and develops course of action for solution.  Requires ability to focus on problem and develop solutions – often innovative.  Designs and formulates complex network/systems integration models/plans acknowledged SME in IT network/telecommunications fields.

ADP/Network Electronic Technician BS/BA Degree or at least 2 Year Technical Degree. Successful past experience required.  Certification required in various IT specialties.

Responsible for initial set-up, installation and checkout of typical off-the-shelf HW and SW.  Extensive experience providing hands on hardware/software support (i.e. hardware system troubleshooting/upgrades, software upgrades/installations/debugging) of network/telecommunications projects.  Understanding of safety principles for personnel and systems.  Ability to document all problems/activities and to de-bug most of common problems encountered in IT areas.  Experience supporting Central IT Help Desk Support.  Provides concepts and designs for problem solution.  Requires ability to focus on problem and develop solutions – usually similar to problems encountered previously.

Sr. Programmer/Analyst Senior Programmer should include at least Bachelors in Computer Science with a Masters in Computer Science preferable or additional experience (a minimum of 15 years or be a recognized expert in SW development).

Coordinates requirements with customer in a manner that allows development of efficient/functional code.  Identifies programming expertise required for code development.   Develops SW development plan and key milestones with schedules.  Resolves programming conflicts on large projects.

Programmer Programmer should include at least Bachelors in Computer Science or related field or significant successful experience (at least 5 years) as a programmer.

Independently develops code according to plan provided by others.  Provides interface compatibility with other’s code without significant oversight and assistance.

Jr. Programmer BS/BA Degree or at least 2 year Technical Degree. Successful past programming experience required.

Develops code at the direction of others (usually a Sr. Programmer or a Programmer).  All code developed will be thoroughly checked and tested by others.

Quality Assurance Engineer BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics or some other closely related academic field.

Provides IV&V on SW development projects.  Provides thorough system test and checkout of HW solutions.  Provides test plans and test reports.  Able to communicate problems discovered such that fixes are readily envisioned.

Analyst Analyst should have at least Bachelors in Computer Science or related field or significant successful experience (at least 5 years) as a programmer/analyst.

Coordinates requirements with customer in a manner that allows development of efficient/functional code.  Identifies programming expertise required for code development.   Develops SW development modules with estimates of resources required to accomplish.

Sr. Computer Engineer BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics or some other closely related academic field required and a Masters in those areas recommended.

Formulates scope of the IT ADP project and develops course of action for solution.  Requires ability to focus on problem and develop solutions – often innovative.  Designs and formulates complex network/systems integration models/plans acknowledged SME in IT network/telecommunications fields.  Serves as a team leader on parts of major projects.

Electrical Engineer BS in Electrical Engineering required.

Formulates scope of the IT project as related to EE principles and develops course of action for solution.  Requires ability to focus on problem and develop solutions.  Designs and formulates complex EE integration models/plans.

Technical Writer BA or BS Degree..  Success in oral and written communication skills mandatory.

Has full responsibility to take designs/data/drawings/code and convert into proper documentation.  Must coordinate and communicate with all project members to be able to properly convert and transmit information. 

Systems Engineer BS in Engineering with strong background in Computer Science and Information Systems Management.
